Hi, I’m Mike. Welcome.
Do you remember the old-school Batman, the one where a giant “POW!” would pop up on the screen every time Batman punched someone? That show was on heavy rotation in the early ‘90s and it was my favorite. Whenever the featured villain was someone lame like Clock King, I would ignore the TV and make up stories about Gotham City’s cooler criminals instead.
Maybe that was foreshadowing.
I grew up to be a journalist. Then the recession happened and I became a shoe salesman. Eventually, I became a journalist again, landing at a B2B digital marketing publication.
From writing about the ad tech space, I made my way into the ad tech space. I’m currently the content lead on a B2B marketing team. My specialties include content strategy, thought leadership, data storytelling, and translating The Official Language™ into actual English.
I live in Astoria, Queens, with my wife and my dog. Outside of writing, my favorite things include swimming, long bike rides, cooking, stand-up comedy, Dunkin’, and New Orleans.
